If you can develop a skill in making ornaments out of those animal tusks. Or make a potion from it like how Chinese study them, you can sell them on amazon at a decent price. That will be additional to your income. Or you can open a tourist spot, like boating to hunting to anything you locals do there, that might increase job in your area. Because a lot of people from the main land wants to have vacations at unique places like yours.

Polar bears are struggling to survive because their food sources are dwindling due to overhunting and overfishing. Don't you think it's time to prioritize their protection? Have you considered that humans might be the real threat to polar bears? 💔

At first I was appalled by their killing of animals but a few minutes in, I started seeing things through the people’s eyes, and it made sense to me. Subsistence only. And frankly, I am positively surprised by the kindness and grace the people display. It made my day watching this.
One can watch more polar bears in Kaktovik / Barter Island, AK which is in the northern tip of Alaska and closer to Canada. There used to be polar bear viewing trips in Kaktovik but they havent re-started after Covid.
I have been to Savoonga in St Lawrence Island but haven’t been to Gambell

You don't seem to understand the concept of frozen meat. You can freeze meat today, and provided it doesn't thaw, it will be safe to eat FOREVER. They cook and eat wooly mammoth that they find in Siberia that has been frozen for 50,000 years.
