The Lone Ranger TV show and legend were based on Bass Reeves, but 50s american did not want to have the main Western hero be a Black man, so they changed his color. That is why they called him Lone Ranger, because he was by himself. He actually spoke a lot of the indian native langange of multiple tribes in Oklahoma
