  3. …apropos War On Drug performance: i've been trying to catch the sound of that baritone sax on three different sets of speakers, playing this vid over and over, and… no way, it can't be heard.

¿has it somehow been lost on its way from stage to master, or is the Source Intelligence still to be trained for telling a baritone saxophone from stage scatter noise?

and, audio super nerds watching this, and the whole value chain involved in this product launch approval process, why is nobody here asking where the hell has it ended?

i mean, the rest of the show could be up to one's taste or not – but.
an instrument not making it to the mix when it's on camera, before the world audience of audio pros…
it sure feels like amateur hour, despite all the marketing hype being sprayed on this too-Apple-like keynote…

…and, frankly, an unacceptable failure of quality control,
which casts some shadows on what the real meaning of this actually is.

  4. Saw Paul Simon last Sunday evening…simply amazing…when you can hear his fingers on the guitar frets you know it doesn't get any better than this. Looking forward to Rod Stewart tonight to experience live audio amplification like I've never experienced before. They have set the bar so high that I can not imagine the next leap in technology.

  5. What is the physical transport for us uae middle east and aisa and in India who where the most of stokiist out of us and us and UK market we have more than n number what's in

  6. It's unimaginable that a brand like L-Acoustics, which has never manufactured a single loudspeaker, could claim to produce the best line array in the world.

    I'm flabbergasted.
L-Acoustics is an assembler, nothing like an integrated manufacturer such as the world leader JBL (JBL VTX) or RCF (TT and GTX), which, with over 70 years of experience, are far superior.

Among assemblers, Meyer, Adamson, and D&B are much better than L-Acoustics, with Clair Brothers being the best.

As for the JBL VTX, the top sound engineers who discover it find it simply fabulous and unrivaled.

  7. Source intelligence very good on speech. I honestly found the band mix too much compressed, very clean but no dynamics, no personality. I don’t like today’s aesthetics at all

  8. This keynote is something else. It’s like you took an Apple Keynote and asked the bot to write a script based on the Apple Keynote script and pumped this out.
But that said it’s got me excited to come to the Bowl this summer to hear a show

  9. I'm sorry but the Source Intelligence is terrible. I refuse to run my star vocal microphone nor my entire mix through AI processing that is in some closed system black box. In this video it sounds bad. It's not consistent. Between the two presenters, there's a drastic shift in room noise and bleed and although it might help in a live environment, it sounds like shit on tape.

  10. 22:08 Scott should have done the entire presentation; he was the only one who could speak clear English and seemed to be mic'd correctly so as not to have extra P and S noise. Even Ryan, with the slight feedback, would have been good for more of the show. And of course, "it's got AI" inside, at least he called it an Algorithm correctly.
