Third blown aircraft tire incident reported at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport in just over a



An American Airlines flight blew two tires shortly after pushing back from the gate to take off Wednesday at O’Hare International Airport, the third time in a little over a week and the fifth time in less than a year that a plane has had tire problems at O’Hare. According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the latest incident happened around 3:35 p.m. Wednesday. The FAA says the crew of American Airlines flight 3280 reported two blown tires while taxiing for departure. Passengers were able to deplane and were bused back to the terminal, where they boarded a a different plane to their destination.
