This demo does not follow the full procedure for lighting the grill with this method. Make sure the gas burners are off, light the match, put the match near the burner, and turn the gas on. That avoids any gas build up and nasty surprises (BOOM!).

Gas grill? Yuck. If you want to cook on gas just do it in your kitchen. Charcoal or wood is the only way to go.
