A "cleaner interior" is the worst thing in the automotive industry right now.
Where are the physical buttons? Why mess with things that worked just fine?
Last time I was impressed with the interior of a Lexus was about 15 years ago.
Toyota is starting to mimic Nissan a bit. Now the front end looks like a Nissan and the rav4 has the rear of the rogue. I’m sure it’s still a very nice vehicle, but does not exude the type of designs Lexus has been known for. It’s going to sell regardless!
Nice car Made in Canada !
This is rubbish. It looks cheap and built quality looks poor. Our NX 300 F sport 2018 is a much better car.
This is just a heavy refresh not a totally new design
Slowly all Car Manufacturers are starting to put again buttons in while Lexus starts to remove them? Seriously guys? This does not sound like Toyota any more?
It looks now some like Hyndai, very disappointing.. and the interior is boring
what an ugly car. look at the new BMW in comparison.
Whats with all the touch controls, how are you supposed to use any of the dashboard features, you would be too scared fumbling around and hitting a tree.
They killed it. Was such an amazing car. The new interior 🤮
Interior looks cheaper or at least like Korean cars
Great job with your initial impressions of this nice vehicle. You forgot to mention that one of the benefits of the electronic door handles is to prevent the door from opening into traffic. I have them and its innovative pushing the door open while pushing a button compared to pulling and pushing a traditional door handle. Also, the vehicle will detect your fingers when you have the key fob on you and open automatically.
"Clean & less Cluttered than the predecessor" You mean cheaper and bland? Car journalists are just Gaslighters of late.
Not buying for the taillights
Ugly steeling wheel.
First time on this Channel and holy shit this man is payed by Lexus.
Looks like predator in Arnold S. Movie
Mazda cx5
That lights on steering wheel is awesome for long driving at night, it will be darker and will not bother eyes.
So still no spare tire, i guess toyota doesn't really listen to the customers.
Honestly…..it just looks blah…not very luxurious at all. I think they need to be a little less lazy. It’s so simple I’m wondering why would you spend any extra money on this? The luxury aspect just isn’t there…
The steering wheel is awful! I can’t believe they butchered the interior. It looks so so cheap now 🙁 Why would you ever want disappearing buttons? It just looks so cheap!
CX 5 interior anyone?
feels premium, not really luxury… moreso like a mazda
Yikes, i almost bought the old generation of NX. I didn't because i felt the ride was too jittery and fussy in the F-Sport. I still liked it – very comfortable and just felt quality. This looks cheap and a downgrade; it looks like the Tesla influence has cursed another japanese automaker. First Mazda, then Toyota and now Lexus. This isn't going to sit well with their main returning buyer (old people), especially the loss of physical buttons.
Given Autogefuhl just published the review of the Polestar 4 SUV i'd be taking that over the NX at a similar price point, albeit both have the touch screen curse.
It's amusing to me that the inside door release is such an issue. Your thumb naturally finds the release button when you grab the handle. Sure it looks awkward when you use your wrong hand as shown in the video.
What is the 0- 100 kph time as the old one was really slow
Can't wait to get this when the lease on my 2025 NX is up.
@9:24 Is the central console squeaking and rattling ???
Why tf does it look like a UX ?? looks very car/crossover like. Like a Mazda CX-30
From the electronic door handles to the proximity illumination on the steering wheel buttons, Lexus has truly defined the saying, "if it ain't broke, just fuck with it."
I would love one , but just can’t afford one
I hate this new trend with the naming on the steering wheel instead of the logo. Horrible…
Huge downgrade in the screen and dash layout. No thanks
Hemtreals!!!
yes because during an emergency we have time to explain to our passengers how to get out of the car lol ai yah. The inside looks so plain and cheap, the outside is beautiful though.
We can all complain about this or that but go visit BMWs first then come back, we could all appreciate Lexus for this.
I am on my second NX450H+ in 5 years, I’m not liking the new dash they have removed the mode button which was the nicest feature you just scrolled it to select sport or eco and pushed the centre for normal mode it is now in the screen 😓😓
Don’t like the new steering wheel buttons or the dash binnacle it looks cheap compared to my model.
Not sure I like the new lights or not maybe that will grow on me.
Its a stylish rav4.
I like the car and I liked the previous iterations. But, I don't see how a 23 kWh battery will allow you to do 100 km in full electric in real life; 60 km yes, doable, but 100, not even in my best dreams. I'm looking forward for your review
