What does the R stand for in Type R? 🤔
This guy was such a nutsack. I'm glad this channel is over.
Back in "the day" I owned a 98 GSR then a phoenix yellow 2001 ITR exactly like the one in this video. Amazing cars. Fun, reliable, more than capable of surprising people.
You clearly know NOTHING about cars. Acuras aren’t JDM. Acura is an American company that has never even sold vehicles in Japan. 🙄
I had a 1995 Integra GS bought new. God I miss that car.
I'm not a car person, but I come from a family of car people, mechanics, racers, and what not. When I was a teen I was gifted one of these cars. I hated driving it due to how difficult it was to shift gears and ended up crashing it when I was 19. Upon seeing this video I'm now only beginning to realize what I had.
One of my childhood memories is my grandmother teaching my sister how to drive in the '96 Integra Type R when she was 12. She kept peeling out all over the place and then started crying. She gave up learning how to drive for a few years until I explained to her she could have started from a full stop in second gear and it would have been much easier.
Back when I owned the car I stalled the engine at a stop light. I got embarrassed by it ("What will everyone think!?") so I tried to quickly get the car started which only involved me peeling out all over the place and then immediately stalled the car out again. Some middle aged lady rolled up to me and wagged her finger disapprovingly. I assume she thought I did it on purpose. I hated that car! XD
I’ve owned a lot of cars over the years but the Integra had the best visibility of any car I have driven.
Fake mileages he probably disconnected the tachometer lol
Every honda civic And teg can have hood at full open
criminal not to mention the thicker metal in the unibody, particularly in the rear… Don't even get me STARTED on the thinner windshield!
7:44 did they install a rear wiper or was that like a rare option, thought type r didn’t come with it
This one just broke the Integra record on BaT if I'm not mistaken. Over $200k 🔥
The best thing about these cars is that base model Integra really isn't super far from a Type r. They're not 5 figure cars, and you can pick up a B18C engine and trans for far less…
Suspension and brakes can be moved over with much ease(And within budget). If its an RS even better. None of the things that make the car bloat with all the potential.
I don't say that to make the type r sound less than what it is, but to show what an amazingly configured chassis the third gen integra is.
Had a '98 for a couple of years. Never to be seen again. Never found a trace. Amazing machine. Wonder if it still exists in some form somewhere on earth. 😂 At least they left the unit body of my GS-R in the Bronx. Got closure.
Hmmmm..I thought type Rs don’t have a rear window wiper? Also some type Rs don’t have a radio either..AND why does it not have the type R steering wheel ??Is it possible we are looking at a Clone here?
less than 5000 miles on a 20 year old car… this thing was basically left in the driveway most of the time because it's averaging 250 miles a year. since this video came out in 2020. less than 0.70 miles a day.
Jerry is one of my favorite people
They are like 10g in uk
Sold my 2001 championship white for lots of money but regret it. If you have one don’t sell it.
why's in not got proper Recaro seats in it like UK model??
integra DC2 TYPE R vs elantra N????
