I have been waiting for this for decades.
I am very curious as to how they intend to play the story out and if they'll include any of the other heroes involved in the original saga and how they plan to resolve it.
I highly doubt they'll do the "a bunch of heros sacrifice themselves and get shunted to an alternate universe by Franklin Richards" resolution.
Though they might do something like it in order to make the next season even more desperate for mutant kind with fewer non-mutant super powered allies.
Or maybe they'll do something from one of his later appearances in the comics.
It could be that they're saving his appearance for the end of this season to make that the main conflict of season 3.
