I was interested until no rear ac and no vented seats. I’m in Texas. We can literally cook an egg in our cars. For $50k, I better get vented seats and a rear ac. Especially since this car is marketed to the more mature driver who will likely have a family. Why not put them in there? Big miss.
Does any one have one and put a better turbo on it?

Type r has pogo sticks for struts. Honda fell into the nurburgring ego trap. So many other manufacturers do the same, not realizing that the people who afford higher end cars want to drive them on everday roads. Racetracks are for racecars, and occasional track days. Many folks are NOT skilled enough to drive at 10/10 ths on track without crashing.

I have a 95 Acura Legend and a 23 Integra, i just hate to say that a 30 year older car has better sound system and much quieter. I kept going back to the Legend as a daily driver.
Just bought my Apex blue Type S yesterday. It's being transferred from a sister dealership and I'll pick it up next week. If you're in the Raleigh area keep an eye out.
Agree to disagree. The seats in the R are worlds more comfortable than the seats in the ITS. Those are really the standard Integra seats with new fabric.
The reason I went with the R over the ITS was the front seats, I like the wing, the Integra is longer for no good reason and the the rear hatch opening. The ITS raises the whole opening making it less useful or at least not as easy to use. The suspension module is swappable between the R and ITS so the ride difference is a non issue. In fact, I think the complaints about ride in the R are overblown. I do wish the R sounded like the ITS exhaust wise and that's an easy fix. The heads up display is neat but that doesn't make up for the difference in price.
I really wish they made this car with an 8 speed dual clutch automatic. Driving stick for was fun for 20 years. But now that automatics outperform manuals, it would be nice to see them in cars like this.
I think it looks nice but…… I do not like those circle fenders at all, makes it look cheap like something you can buy off of eBay and just slap it on. You all know what I'm talking about too.
I have owned one for 1 1/2 years and i drive well over 1000 miles a month. I totally love the suspension, handling, acceleration, exhaust sound, the steering and the brakes. The manual is an amazing bonus and the sound system competes with anything short of a $200k car sound system; the car is an amazing total package.
that thing is a flop thats no integra its just a rebaged ilx a big ugly bloated only sedan… shame on these guys for advertising for ppl to buy one theres a reason why they dont sell i could get me an m4 for cheaper and more horsepower what a flop i bet acura will axe it off in the future

Pretty much my dream car.
Lack of memory seat for the driver is inexcusable. Also, what's with the stupid idea of putting the cup holders in the seats in the rear?! Put a damn arm rest in the middle with the cup holders for crying out loud. There are a few head scratching design decisions with this car that I just can't get passed. I've been waiting 3 years now for them to fix at least a couple of these and they just refuse to do it. I won't buy one until they do.

If you want a type S better get it soon. This car may be discontinued as Acura looks to electrify its line up. There is no official announcement yet but this car sells in low volumes.
I drove it, didn't enjoy the torque steer that I thought was magically resolved with some Honda magic. Interior and infotainment feels cheap. The sound system is great and the transmission is very good. The Golf R felt a lot better and more luxurious but the missing manual transmission is a huge drawback.
I hate that I'm starting to like the Type S. When it first came out, I hated it so much because it just looks like any other Acura sedan. There's no s original integra vibes to it at all but getting older you'll start to appreciate what it actually is.
younger then 26 you drive a Type-R older then 26 you drive a Type-S its really simple.

Glad i got the golf R instead before they killed the manual. Heated and ventilated seats that raise up higher than most sports cars. both front seats power adjustable. Third row with excellent headroom and 3 seats so all 3 kids can fit (instead of wasting that middle seat like type R and type S do). All wheel drive with awesome torque vectoring in corners. Trunk is also much more accessible for loading groceries in and out without having to reach in like you do on type S. Too bad VW killed the manual transmission!!

I think it’s a stretch to call the Integra seats “better “ than the Type R seats.
I had this car, the 2025 version, and I traded it back in after 10 months. It’s very fun to drive but you make too many compromises at that price point, all which are mentioned here, additionally the interior build quality was lacking, the headliner in mine, had a gap in the very front that i could put my hand in and it had multiple rattles on the passenger side. When i took delivery the car only had 4 miles on it, so it wasn’t used at all. Having said that, the options for a manual transmission are limited and this car is on a very short list, it’s a great option for a second car when you have the means and want a fun manual to drive
This is the only Japanese manual trans car I’d buy any day.
The ITS is an impressive car but with taxes, tags, fees, markup it around $60,000 out the door for essentially a reskinned luxury Civic. And that is close to M2/RS3/Dark Horse money and those three cars are vastly superior. The RS3 with its wicked five cylinder engine alone makes it better than the ITS.
Oh and Honda didn’t leave out AWD or a dual clutch due to “driving integrity.” Their concern was saving money. This platform is not designed for a two axle automatic drivetrain, they would have had to customize an AWD platform with a DCT which would put the ITS/CTR easily at $75,000.
It has the interior of the cheapest car Honda makes. Pass.
I really wanted this car. But ended up with the Civic Si. Love everything about the Type S but it didn't make sense for my commute. MPG and gas tank size was not ideal for a 70 mile commute each way
Might need to check this out in person, but nothing will ever compare to my 2001 Type R, which was possibly the greatest lightweight beast ever and the one thing in my entire life that I most regret selling. 😭

How does everyone forgive this car for having a Civic interior?
I test this car before I bought my new BMW M340. It wasn’t even close people performance wise. The Acura was sporty but whoever called it “special “ is delusional. It’s a nice daily but the 340 was in another league performance wise
