It was revealed recently that the reason why WM Girls never debuted is because WM ent was acquired by RBW ent around the time Chaeyeon finished promoting with Izone and RBW decided to scrap the debut plan for this group and they let go of all the trainees except for Chaeyeon. They also barely promoted Chaeyeon and the only reason she got to have a solo debut at all was because of her own hard work and dedication.

Pink punk was the original name for blackpink which had 9 members but 4 members left which had 5 members left which is rosè,Lisa,jisoo,Jennie and miyeon but before their debut,miyeon left due to postponed of their debut,after that they renamed pink punk to blackpink,they also used to be called as baby monster,and the 4 other members of pink punk who left was Eunbi,Euna,Hanna and jinny.

Also when talking about Five girls. I remember searching about Wg and Yubin and saw 5 members and got confused because they weren't the Wg members and I saw only Yubin. Untill before I saw a video about Wg and their story and I heard that Yubin was supposed to debut in another group but got send to Jyp. All of these old kpop groups and potential and never debut I would've really stan them and love them (I really love 2000s groups and few 3rd, 4th gen but rarely 5th gen) It's sad these groups never debut
YG also has another scrapped girl group that never debuted! Their name was SuPearl's. Not a lot kpop stans remember them

I heard about most of these groups before, but it’s always sad to see how much talent never gets to see the light of day. Some of the girls made it afterwards, but many of these girls either never got to debut or ended up not very popular, while their former trainees made it big. Life be like that sometimes

JYP also wanted to create a 4 member Japanese girl group in 2012 to promote in Japan. Sana and Momo were supposed to debut in it. (The other two are rumored to be Sika and Mone, both Japanese as well, though Mone speaks English too). Mone shared on her old Formspring that she didn't make it into Sixteen because of her weight and then also left the company.

People was shocked when Blackpink debuted only as 4 back in 2016, many people thought YG will debut another in 2017 as like the female version of Winner and Ikon, yet the plans backfired. Many talented girls in failed to debut in YG 😢

if you were to make another gg version, I just remembered there was the lost banana culture ngg in 2018, it had lightsum’s nayoung and tri.be’s hyunbin & songsun. (there was also an 8d creative gg in 2019 with produce 48’s go yujin & yu minyoung but sadly there’s very little information about them). the produce 48 lore runs deep
