PLEASE do not glue pipes! If something goes wrong and you need to disassmeble, youll have to destroy all the piping. I know from experince it was absolutley frustrating. Just use teflon tape to seal.
Sometimes 2.5 inches is all you need.

Unfortunately maintenance will be a problem as glue was used on this style of a p-trap, not much else you can do because of the weird angle of the plumbing. If you need to remove the p trap to clean it out, it's gonna suck.

Perfect application to use a Snappy Trap complete sink drain kit. It has a flexible section of pipe that makes the angle without any cutting or extra parts.
What is the round thing with square thing called, that is on the wall there? My sink is clogged, we removed the pipe, snaked out but its still clogged. Cant afford a plumber

Put a steel 45 at the wall and a nipple to attach the trap and your good.
Yeah it's always that simple. For me it's at least 4 trips to Home Depot.

slope is nice, logical and code, but doesn't do anything really in this application. The slope of a 6 inch piece of pipe between the P-trap and the pipe in the wall is not going to mean anything. At worst, a bit of water sits on the weir instead of draining into the wall. Really if any water sat there due to lack of slope, it just sustains the P trap level.

Where did you get the Trap Adapter? I can not locate one like that anywhere. Threaded on both ends…
Moral of the story live next door to a hardware store, paying someone to do this is like 3000 usd these days. I’m not kidding, my sister has no skill at plumbing and they wanted anywhere from $1,000-3,000! It’s just nuts. I had to go out there and fix her bathroom with my kid for like $150 for parts, a lunch, and some gas money.
Nothings cheap anymore.

NIce video ! I think in that case CLEANOUT P-TRAP would be better because glue p-trap would be impossible to clean if its clogged
