Just add a plank to the middle in the recipe to avoid needing a million kinds of sticks.
But having some nice iron ladders, pale oak, dark oak, etc. would be awesome. The standard stick out so much in builds and kinda mess up games like this were the ladder is extremely obvious on any dark blocks!

My instinct when Joel got his prompt was Magic the Gathering and him making a bunch of deck boxes to hide in.
Joel! You have an opportunity to start a Civil War like Baron Zemo between Mumbo and Grian. In the latest Hermitcraft episode, Mumbo threatened to blow up Grian's end crystals if he didn't stop waxing the copper chains in Mumbo's base. Grian backed off, but you can continue to wax the chains, framing him and starting a war. Might spice up season 11. And you can get your revenge for the dried ghasts.
