Here in 2026. I just bought one refurb for 239 yesterday. Cant wait to play with it. I had a fold 4 when it was the current Gen model and I loved it but I was always curious about the flip.

Have a z flip 3 thats performed very well but want to upgrade to a 5 or 6 & definitely love the larger outside screen.. Snapdragon processors are great btw..

I had the 3 one on 2021 bought the 5 now and for me the biggest change its the outside screen you even have keyboard in there can use it in a better way soo you do not need really to be opening and closing the phone all day the small screen does a lot

My z-flip 3 screen broke over time… It seems like it was just from using it over and over and over again. Other than that, I loved everything about the phone. I hope that Apple does their own version some time. Part of me wants to switch to iOS software because of all my other gadgets but that form factor is convincing me to stay in Android.

Don´t buy a flip 5, the screen stopped working after 6 months of using, the warranty didn't want to cover the repair so I paid over 300 € for it. After another 6 months now, it did it again. The lower part of the screen goes black and it stops working. I don't recommend it

find it a bit weird why the good lock feature is not a native feature for this phone

I got the Flip 3 for $70 used on eBay and I love it, even with the smaller cover screen, cuz when its cold outside and u only want to change songs or check for some text your okay with the 1,9 inch screen. But I don't like the smaller camera sensor.

I've owned a Z Flip 5 since March 2024, and now, in 2025, I'm advising you to consider carefully whether a folding phone is right for you. My experience has been that the customer service is poor, and repairs are frequent. The novelty of the cover screen wears off quickly, and you'll likely find yourself using the phone unfolded most of the time for efficient use. While the folding mechanism is initially appealing, it can become annoying, having to constantly flip open your phone to complete a task

I've had Galaxy flip phones for 3 years now. I love them. They're so powerful and practical now. And of course so comfortable! I could never ever go back to bar phones.
My phone main screen froze without having any physical damage. I HATE this phone.
i bought Flip Z5 based on this video review and of some others. The phone's front screen died after 6ish months and Samsung won't even fix it! smh
