What if it is leaking from a hose you just replaced or in that area
In all my years its never been a radiator cap. Its always something more serious like radiator, water pump or head gasket.
My coolant cap is dead ,there's no pressure when I take it off
Im having the same issue on my 2019 Dodge Durango GT. I have been adding coolant every other day.
This is happening to me rn … I just noticed I wonder how many days its been . It's barely low . No air pockets as I squeeze.. but I did have a low pressure position show up on my dash …
This is right on time
Thanks sir
Thanks mate!
Mine doesn't leak is just gets sucked down and then when I release the cap it and then rapidly goes back to what it was like a volcano lol. I even replaced belt and water pump and still doing it. There is obviously air needed to bleed or something else?
I replaced the water tank completely. Still losing coolant.
Thank you very much❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
Thank you 👍🙏💐
Mine Empties, even when it hasn't been run for weeks. No signs of any leaks. Truck has never over heated.
Hie what causes the pipe to have pressure but no leak I changed both radiator and cap
I replaced the cap with a new one today….and the old one does look worn and loose.
Our car running like a dream now, thanks for the help, it just needed new cap on coolent
I did change the radiator cap and mine is still doing it and it bubbles when I park it.
This is true. I work around big trucks and we’ve had multiple cap failures.
That is an expansion tank, not a resovoir. They operate differently.
Great information. Thanks for saving my money on random parts that technician recommend me.
I've got this issue, but the cap is a hinged plastic flap, like you have on the screenwash. I'll keep looking.
Shoutout the forms😂 givese a heart attack every time
I'll check mine. I have to fill every month thanks
Today while checking oil I noticed the reservoir was below the L line and the last time it was filled (and checked) was a few months ago at least. I did replace a hose clip elsewhere in the cooling system but that FIXED a minor leak caused by the old clip. I'm hoping it may just be the cap but idk
I never thought of the coolant cap I loose some coolant sometimes then it’ll be months no problem then a week or two it leaks but it stops
I checked everything radiator engine oil for water foam changed the thermostat radiator cap checked the hosts clamps the pump nothing was wrong
I have the coolant go to a pan down on driver side what is that part call
