It’s EZ to assign E and Z absolute configuration to alkenes. Guess which convention we get to use? Cahn-Ingold-Prelog is back! Don’t forget, zee zame zide. You have to say it with a German accent, or you lose points on the quiz.

Thank you!
you know these are all bangers and under watched. no adds!!???? thank you so much Professor Dave. I watched this to get through ochem when they came out. now I am studying again, these videos are more perfectly made than I had realized before. exactly what you need to know in the shortest possible time
well explained
Is anyone else cooked for Orgo 1 Final?
zee zame zide
Straight to the point and easy to understand, thank you!
I have been learning german and it just got so easy as soon as you said zusammen, it means together in german as far as I have read (only a beginner)
I already searched it up before 'cause in your previous video about Zaitsev and Hofmann, when you were talking about alkene with substituents in descending order you talked about E/Z disubstituted and I didn't know what that meant.
For cip we use atomic no. Nd Not mass???
has anyone ever told you that you aren't actually that good at explaining things?
@1:39 😂😂 “this stuff” what he hung over on the job lol
EZ to understand 🙂
thank you for helping me study for the mcat chemistry jesus
i have my first orgo test tomorrow and i sadly forgot that i was registered for the class until 3 days ago so these videos are helping me get a general understanding of what will be on my test. Im not expecting the greatest grade on this exam, but the way you explain the content is very helpful.
hai dave
Thank you this will help me with my assignment ❤
Doing A Level Chemistry and you're the only guy explaining this in a good and remember way
zee zame zide happy forever
Great explanation, but if z means zee zame zide … why didn’t chemists just keep using cis/trans? Either way the cahn-ingold rules for priority would be needed to clear up ambiguity
Thank you so much for this video, sir. I was so confused while revising this topic and your video helped immensely.
Just know you make hard things simple ❤
you made this so easy to understand thank!!! literally found your channel today and its gonna save my ass with my midterm coming up
Cahn-Ingle-Prelog convention = higher element priority span
