After several weeks traveling through the United States and Canada, it’s finally time to leave North America and start flying to Indonesia. In this travel vlog, I’m traveling halfway across the world to return to my fiancée Lisa in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Getting back to Jakarta means two long international flights, an overnight journey and a layover in Taiwan. After weeks of USA travel and exploring North America, I’m excited to finally return to Indonesia, but I also need to make it back in time for my birthday.
This travel vlog follows my entire journey from leaving North America and flying to Indonesia to landing at Jakarta Airport and finally reuniting with Lisa after weeks apart. Coming back to Jakarta after such a long trip feels completely different from arriving as a tourist, and in this Jakarta vlog, I’ll take you along for the entire journey home.
Once I’m back in Indonesia, Lisa has a birthday surprise waiting for me and we finally get to spend time together again. We also celebrate my birthday and attempt to cook German Schnitzel together.

16:06 if you ever do come back to the states, just try and see if there’s anything different compared to other places that have McDonald’s! Especially if you generally enjoy McDonald’s every once in a while, I’m not the biggest fan of McDonald’s; but I will definitely try it if it’s a different state or country that does things a bit differently compared to where I am from!
