I think I did ok for my very first time doing c2c. I've been practicing crochet for about 6 years now and could never grasp the concept in pattern or the other videos I watched but this one was an easy follow
I will be back
I love this pattern, I've never learned how to close off the triangle,, to make a square
I spent far too long trying to work out c2c reading instructions and then looking at photos and could still not figure it out. Your instruction to chain 6 THEN turn makes so much more sense to my brain and visually made it so much easier to see where to place the stitches. Thank you!! All the others had the turn before the next block and sent me round the twist 😵💫😂
I’ve been thinking of making my Grandma a blanket. I’ve been set on making this specific pattern. Two days ago (on Saturday) I went to Ollie’s and found all in one granny square in the color (Aran- Lilly Pad) and grabbed 6 skeins (cost $32 all together) It’s been TWO DAYS.. used up 3 skeins (now on the fourth skein) and starting my decrease side today(day 3 now) I was expecting it to take LONGER cause I always hear people take much longer for this pattern… I’m zooming! My goal was to do 1 skein a day at least.. yesterday? I did two skein cause it’s the weekend 😅 so thank you for this video! So simple and easy yet so pretty!
What size hook
Amei!!! ❤
Fabulous tutorial. I have wanted to learn this stitch for ages but was always a little intiminated. You have simplified it perfectly. Especially for those who are not total beginners. Thank you.
Just too fast for me. I’ll find another. Thanks tho.❤
UPDATE: I actually watched again and viola! It finally clicked! LOL! Thanks for the tutorial!
Came back here bc I forgot how to crochet c2c, just made a big square ❤
You should probably explain what you're skipping and why, when you're decreasing, because i'm so confused now
Wow you are a fantastic teacher! Thank you.
Thank you so much
For me, this was the best example of how to do the corner to corner. I watched many tutorials and they all dragged it out. It was too frustrating. I love this. Thank you for being straightforward as someone else has said this was great.
@3:10 you didn't mention ch 6, dc into 4th ch, dc , dc
Not recommended for a beginner .
My favorite blanket is 1 that my late grandma and I couldn't find the pattern I tried Google lense and nothing. This is it!!! Thank you so much!!
Always good to learn a new way of doing things.
Thank you so much for this! Just like someone else said, I’m not new to crochet but I’m new to C2C and you made it very simple to learn. I can see why people love it, it’s very easy to get into a flow and let your mind wander. Next I want to learn how to do color changes with C2C.
U go way too fast, lady
What's the color of yarn in this pattern on your FB page please? I love it!
Thank you for making this novice friendly without being insultingly slow or tedious! I feel confident that I can use this to make a blanket!
However I do have one question. Increasing up then immediately into a decrease makes a square. How do I make a rectangle? Like how to I maintain the width while increasing the length of the swatch?
This would have been great if it was just a tad slower
If this is supposed to be a tutorial, SLOW DOWN
