Dr Puspa Sharma on how the Gen Z uprising reshaped Nepal’s politics

Nepal’s search for survivors has entered a critical phase, two weeks after devastating floods swept through the Himalayan country. Rescuers are now focusing on three hydropower project tunnels, where they believe dozens of workers could be trapped. Officials say about 121 of 900 missing workers could be inside the tunnels. The disaster is shaping up to be a major test for Nepal’s new government. It comes as the country marks one year since the Gen Z uprising that toppled former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
