Grocery Shopping After Work in Japan | Cooking Dinner & Quiet Daily Life

A quiet couple of days living in Japan. 🤍

After work, I stop by the grocery store, make a simple dinner, and spend a slow evening at home.

The next day, I spend some time cleaning and taking care of things around the house.

Nothing too special, just ordinary moments from my life in Japan. Sometimes, I think these simple days are the ones I appreciate the most. ☺️

Thank you for spending another day in Japan with me💕.

  1. Your videos calm me down. Even though I strive to live a simple life & work hard things can still become overwhelming. Thank you for being you. It makes me at peace with just existing. I hope that makes sense. Ive grown up extremely poor aswell from what ive heard you talk about in other videos and have suffered extreme loss. Continuing day by day and living the best you can is the key to life. I just found the channel but definitely subscribed. I hope you and your family have found great happiness ❤

  2. Listen to your body. If you are tired, rest. Make something easier to eat or if you have a healthy takeout pick it up on the way home. Obviously not everyday but for a really tired day, nothing wrong with that.
Fyi low carb can make you feel extra tired. I can't do a low carb diet because it triggers migraine and fatigue for me. I just changed the carbs I eat. I don't eat any processed food anymore. No sugar (or very little), other than what's naturally in fruit. I drink 11 oz of coconut water a day because it has a lot of potassium and magnesium (if you have a kidney issue talk to your Dr first). I eat 100g or more of protein a day and started strength training/weight lifting. I lost 60 lbs so far and feel the best I've felt in a really long time, and my body doesn't crave refined carbs or sugars anymore. I hope you find what works for you and start feeling better soon, it seems you e been struggling for a while but don't give up.

  3. Your problem are not the carbs. I watch your videos since the beginnig and you're using way too much fat and sirup and sugered ingredients. I really recommend you to get an app for food tracking. It helps with getting a feeling for what you're eating and what your body needs. It tracks your macros (fat, protein and carbs). Also ist's not healthy eating meat 7 days a week twice a day – eating too much meat is proven leading to cancer, high blood pressure and inflammation. I also recommend to calculate your daily needed kcal – a good food tracking app will work this out for you too or chat gpt or any other AI. I struggled a lot with emotional eating and weight ups and downs myself. Tracking my food helped with consistency – although when eating a calorie deficite for weight loss, I was never hungry or unsatisfied. I wish you the very best Lou C 🌼

  4. Hey Lou! Have you tried the Mediterranean diet? It’s filling, healthy, anti-inflammatory and really tasty. It basically involves using olive oil, salads with tomatoes, tuna, onions, sweetcorn, lettuce, olives, etc., and simple dishes like grilled chicken fillet with chips (made in an air fryer) and a salad on the side. Chips are a great way to feel full and give you energy whilst being low in calories. You can also have some Greek yoghurt for dessert to boost your energy levels and keep you feeling full.

  5. Yes there is always so much to do so take a decision to get some rest for at least 2 days dear
It can be the heat so supplement with electrolytes …it can even be your mind, missing home..
    U must use iodised salt
    Take care

  6. I found when I stopped eating red meat i gained so much energy and it’s stayed that way for two years and still going Everyone is built differently though so each to their own

  7. Lou, I encourage you to look into the Mediterranean Diet. It is the #1 rated diet for health and longevity. Sometimes it is known as the Blue Zone Diet, but it is not a specific diet, rather a healthy lifestyle incorporating nourishing foods and a healthy lifestyle. I have thyroid issues also and slowly changing my eating habits using Mediterranean diet guidelines has made a world of difference in my health. I have lost weight and my energy has become much better and more stable, the fatigue has gone away. Just remember, dear, making slow changes allows your body to adapt much more efficiently than sudden or drastic dietary changes. Be patient and consistent while your body adjusts to healthier eating. For me it took about one year of making slow changes. I hope you will look into this, you are a wonderful person and I enjoy your videos so much! And I know you can be healthy, I am proof that it works! Good luck, dear!
