  1. Put them in a collander with running water. Move them around and get that dirt off. Move quickly. Cut a small piece off the stem. Slice them the way you want. Throw them in a dry pan and cook them. All that water will come out. When there is no more water, then add your olive oil, pats of butter and salt. YOU CANNOT BURN MUSHROOMS. THEY WILL NOT BURN.

  2. After removing the bottom stem I remove the top skin of the button area to clean it properly. After washing all the dirts then put this in hot water for 2 mins if any insects in that umbrella area. It becom lil soggy. B

  3. Yes, just wipe them off with damp cloth. Mushrooms are grown in a sterile environment. Washing them will make them soggy, dilute the natural juices and not brown well. And besides, even if bacteria or other microbes were present, there's no washing method that completely removes or kills them, its cooking them that kills them.

  4. A little bit dirty, there was a bug crawling from underneath where the steam was, I just dumped them in some water with baking soda, they still look dirty after wiping them with a paper towel not to mention the germs from other people touching them

  5. Maybe at home I guess? You do this in a kitchen you’ll be immediately removed from your position….you’re doing multiple boxes containing hundreds. If you can’t slice at least 100 in under 7 minutes you’re not prepping

  6. It's funny to see how the Karens are so entitled to think they know more than people who studied and worked for years in the gastronomic industry, keep reading yahoo answer Karen, your ignorance and lack of talent are what give us money XD
