President Donald Trump vowed to pay every American adult $5,000 if Republicans retain their House and Senate majorities in November’s midterm elections – an extraordinary offer as he tries to keep his party in power. But he offered no details on how he would pay for such a move, which he equated to companies paying shareholders dividends and the extra $1,776 checks his administration issued to members of the military last year.
“Here is my promise: If the Republicans win the House of Representatives and the United States Senate, both of them,” Trump said, “I will issue a dividend to every adult citizen in the United States of America for $5,000.” He stressed that the payment — which he named “the Trump dividend” — comes with a condition: It must be spent in the United States.

I don't think I am smart as a man from the street. However if Trump is likely to win why would need to hand out $5,000 to each America adult to vote for him? Does this not tell us the guy already knows he is not going to make it so he has to do something drastic, like deepening the $40 trillion by another $1.2 trillion at least.
As this guy in 2018 interview with Washington Post promised he could "eliminate" the then $19 trillion national debt in just 8 years to get elected but in less than 10 years he managed to do the exact opposite by doubling the national debt to $40 trillion No country in the world except the USA would give credit to such such a incompetent person again.

$5,000 for every American adult? Wow! sounds great until you introduce the tiny inconvenience known as math. There are roughly 260 million adults in the U.S., so that’s about $1.3 trillion in cash payments. Tariff revenue isn’t remotely enough to cover that and even if you somehow collected $5,000 from every adult, you’d still have to explain where the other money comes from.
The U.S. government is already sitting on tens of trillions of dollars of debt and running massive annual deficits. So the proposal is basically: ‘We’re drowning in debt. Let’s borrow another trillion dollars and call it free money. That’s not a loophole in economics. That’s just putting the government credit card on max and hoping nobody checks the statement. 😂
