Parents homeschool your children. Public school systems DO NOT CARE about your children at all they will leave them for dead and then just tell you were sorry that happened and move on. Stop trusting these school systems that do nothing for your children. Meanwhile they don't even prepare them for the REAL WORLD AT ALL! Btw children don't need to be in school for 8 hours a day either.

The privacy argument is moot. The people with access to the cameras are the people who spend all day with the kids anyway. The reason they don't want it is because of lazy, narcissistic, vile, sarcastic, and/or morbidly obese teachers who don't want to be scrutinized…. even though the public wouldn't have access.

Something definitely needs to be done. My nephew was bullied horribly at that same school no accountability to the students that bully him and forced him into homeschool. Student should not be forced to let their lives like this. They are children just stepping into an adulthood at this age. We need each other love on high schooler’s better. They’re going to be in the workforce and in the world we cannot put so much hate into their hearts. There has to be a better way.

NOTHING is worse for a young kid than being bullied. It's a rite of passage for most, yes, as I and most people I knew were bullied in school at times, but getting beat up like that? NOPE. I'd go after the parents of the bullies AND the school too, and make an example of them with damages in court, including punitive ones. Want to raise a scumbag? Fine, you'll "pay for it" then. Lastly, I'd NEVER let my kids go to a government run school in certain areas, and in fact, I'd home school at this point with these animals "running the show" these days. All the schools care about is churning uneducated, unruly, illiterate, uncaring about learning "scholars" out and graduating seniors who can't even read at a third grade level.

All these negative comments, what are they really accomplishing? People are making assumptions without knowing the full story. Yes, there are two sides, so unless you’ve heard both, it’s unfair to judge.
I keep seeing people say the child needs self-defense or should fight back. Why are we putting that responsibility on the child? Regardless of the circumstances, no child should be jumped or harmed at school, especially multiple times.
The school has a responsibility to provide safety, supervision, intervention, and accountability. Instead of saying, “He needs to learn how to fight,” ask: Why did he have to defend himself in the first place?
Children deserve to feel safe at school.
