This report is lacking in the true impact of Korean Skincare. They are focussing on only a couple of TikTok products from a few months ago, but completely lacking in the true innovations of Korean skincare, and the products people actually use. It sounds like this report is for 40 year old women who want a different version of the products they own, rather than leaning into why Australia is the biggest consumer of this outside Korea, and what it is about these products that are attractive (it’s not just the glass skin – we can get this with other products that exist, but why people like using THESE products). Sure Woolworths and Coles have a couple products, but Priceline has more of the key ones, but people are buying them from all these other places like W Cosmetics or other Japanese/Korean skincare stores.

It’s gone cult like because people fall for the influencer hype. The products are nothing special and 9/10 pretty basic. I guess it helps that the products are cheap so that’s why people keep buying

Be careful and look closely—some Chinese-made ‘Korean’ cosmetics even use made-up Korean words. 😂
There are heaps of knock-offs out there pretending to be Korean brands, especially online, and there are many replicas that look exactly the same. You’ve got to be careful and avoid anything that seems too cheap. It’s best to buy from the brand’s official online store or an authorised retailer. But the real Korean products? They’re genuinely excellent quality
I hated it when my ex girlfriend wore makeup. When we’d kiss and hug, her make up would transfer onto me. Gross.
Actually, there are a lot of fake beauty products online (in YouTube ads) pretending to be Korean. You should always check if they are made in Korea

dont be fooled. These products are only 2% of great skin. the other 98% is diet, supplements and lifestyle. I love how my skin looks……im at the age where people dont usually get compliments on their skin, but i had a work colleague mention how good my skin is. For me its diet diet and diet….plus some supps.
