The elderly in my family (Some of them lived in Hong Kong for a while) says there's Mountain Spirits in this place, they usually mess around with the hikers but don't cause them any harm that's too serious, but it's not guranteed that they will not injure or even kill them.

It's simple….if you want to go hiking go with an experienced person who knows the area well, bring lots of food, medicine, some weapons like knives, clubs etc and water, always have an authentic protection charm. And lastly don't depend on google maps for everything.
