Well done June for keeping going. It’s natural to question the big decisions you have made when things are challenging. Living on your own isn’t easy when things are difficult and not having a job could lead to greater rumination about choices. I think it’s admirable you are learning Spanish. I remember you learnt fluent English in 3 years from a previous film so you are obviously a very intelligent person. I felt sad for you re the part when your dad called and was critical and then the film had you sat by the road at night on your own. I think you are a very resilient and adaptable person I hope a good opportunity comes your way soon 😊
Globally if you are in your 40+ and get laid off it is now a lot harder to seek employment as ageism is everywhere. Employers don't care about your experience and knowledge as they think AI can everything.
Being married or single does play a big part since when there are two salaries help during tough times. Keep upskilling, and learning will put you in a better place then many.
Having a degee and masters is only useful to get you through the door in a field of work. If your career doesn't require such high education then don't bother getting into debt for a piece of paper.
If you want to go to university then stick to a STEM subject and avoid all Mickey mouse degrees.

Some of my IT professional friends got married after 40s.
One got married at 41 for her only marriage.
She gave birth to her daughter at 42.
Surprisingly, she says she got pregnant after 4 months since her wedding. She was anxious at first and thought she will never get pregnant.
How she got pregnant?
No supplement medication at all. Just normal couple thing and maintaining good health.

Hello I know you mentioned you are trying to help kitty go poop some suggestions if you haven't already done brush his fur daily it is very common for cats to get accumulated fur inside tummy making it difficult to 💩 poop also he could have a accumulated hardened stools like people also keeping him her active and the heart and circulation going with play time 4 time a day 10 minutes with toys chasing balls and string dragging along food etc will help heart circulation also his diet canned pumpkin if he likes and I would first get him x-ray checked if you haven't to make sure no blockage and they have medicine you can get to help him poop if he has hard poop stuck inside you may already know all of this also getting another kitty may help him more active I love kitty cats 🐈🐈 I hope he can 💩 I am liking your channel a lot you have beautiful green parks china maybe you can take kitty to the park in a cat stroller or cat harness to get him outside I am a woman in us and am enjoying your channel blessings to you and kitty 🐈

It sounds like you sacrificed a lot really for your family. Some people suggest going back to the uk but things are hard here too for job seekers. Perhaps you could try to contact your university in the uk, sometimes they have alumni associations in different countries, if they do you could join and try to network to find opportunities in China? There are also websites where you can work as a personal assistant to people online these could be worth exploring with your language skills and finance experience, especially considering FX rates. I hope you find something soon, good luck

Sharing my personal experience and working story. Previously, I shared how I consulted a Feng Shui Master in 2003 because my wife was suffering from serious health issues and had to undergo five surgeries in just one year. I think you are very wise to spend a little time, when you can, learning Spanish. Your situation is very difficult, and, as you so astutely observe, learning something new can help you maintain a feeling of progress, of agency. It is also very wise of you to recognize that this feeling of progress does not actually reflect a practical solution. But even though it is not applicable to your current circumstances, it is still important to consider your mental health. "You can't pour from an empty cup," as the saying goes.
