30 years with Collins in power has led to Lubec loosing our Nursing Home, our High School, our year round Jobs, all of our Affordable Housing, our Medical Center is a skeleton of what it was 30 years ago. Washington County is over 3.5 hours end to end and our 2 rural Hospitals have been downgraded to critical access only and we're down to just 1 Maternity Ward for the entire County!!! Cancer treatments or other Specialized Medical Care is a 6+ hour round trip drive to Bangor, AND many working Mainers like ME have lost our Health Insurance. Collins has let Trump increase our National Deficit to over 40 Trillion.During Donald Trump's first term, the gross national debt grew by $7.8 trillion (from about $19.95 trillion to $27.75 trillion). And according to Reuters "Since Donald Trump returned to office for his second term in January 2025, the U.S. national debt load has increased by about 3.8 trillion dollars, pushing the total national debt past the $40 trillion threshold." We can't afford another 6 years of Collins and Trump taking a wrecking Ball to our economy.
