Lady, you ain’t dealt with nothing serious yet!
Try loading, securing and putting heavy tarps on a flatbed load in a 105+ degrees Fahrenheit (40+ degrees Celsius) in summer time Southern USA, then talk to me about a hard day trucking! Then, when you get done with all of that stuff, drive for another 11 hours, some 700 miles (1120+km) distance towards your destination, which can be 2000+ miles away and you’re expected to be there “yesterday”, right? LOL
Come trucking with me and see for yourself what I’m talking about! LOL
I’ve been doing this since 1988 and I’m working harder now than ever! LOL
PS: even though the American trucks have huge sleepers as compared with the Euro trucks, they’re way tougher on the body because they’re noisy and ride much rougher than those Euro trucks. They’re also about 75 feet (22.9 meters) long in combination and don’t steer as much as an Euro cab-over truck. Maneuvering these things in tight spaces requires a great deal of patience and skill too!
