Samsung Galaxy A52s is a blast from the past and has only now been made relevant again by the Samsung A53, which failed to impress. Owing to Samsung’s new Exynos 1280 CPU which underperforms, the A53 is pretty much on par with the A52 at best, which leaves the A52s 5G as the best performing A series phone. The Samsung A52s runs laps around the A53 in any given task you put do on them (CODM, PUBG, Genshin Impact, video editing etc) and this performance difference makes the A52s easy to recommend over the A53. The strongest point that the A53 has is its default camera for video recording. Videos look more realistic and show truer to life skin tones than the A52, as seen in this TikTok video ( ). Besides that, the A53’s lack of GCAM(Google Pixel Camera Mod) support and having camera 2 api disabled makes a case for even getting its predecessor, the A52 over it. The A53 also lacks a headphone jack and the missing charger in the box will set you back ₦10,000.
