Lyrics:
Ooh if I ever talk to God
I talk about you
In the night I close my eyes
I dream about you
Every song I try to write
I write about you
It ain’t much to tell you slow down
Just some messed up kids with some messed up friends
Inside an old town
I could see myself in a picture frame but I’m alone now
When I called you up couldn’t talk enough
Or put the phone down
Oh baby you should know now oh
Mixing you with alcohol
Talking but we said it all
Promise that we meet again
Wonder if this ever ends
Ooh if I ever talk to God
I talk about you
In the night I close my eyes
I dream about you
Every song I try to write
I write about you
I could make the whole world stop right now
But at least I tried dawg
This bottle won’t drink itself
So I’ll just high, doll
I can’t seem to reason without you
So I talk to people about you
And they tell me I’m bad at leaving
I think I’m done for the season
Mixing you with alcohol
Talking but we said it all
Promise that we meet again
Wonder if this ever ends
Ooh if I ever talk to God
I talk about you
In the night I close my eyes
I dream about you
Every song I try to write
I write about you
And we’ll talk in the middle of the night
Whenever you call
Whatever I said
Whenever I went wrong
And we’ll talk yeah whenever you’re back
I would take it all back
Miss the way that you laugh
Hate the way that we left off
