All of this is reinforcing to me that when the book of Genesis discusses the fall of man it is telling the truth. A quick glance at the world shows that mankind can now be using its vast resources for so much good yet instead look at mankind has decided to do to each other. The B-52 is like the 50 cal machine gun. It’s been in service for a pretty long time now and is still very reliable and effective.

The only thing original on the B-52 is the air frame. Even the air frame has had extensive upgrades. It is less than 50% original.
It is a good example of upgrades keeping it in the air. Current upgrades are expected to keep it in the air until the 2050 s
