Misen claims these stainless steel food storage containers, called Misenware, are leakproof, unbreakable, and even microwave safe. I put their biggest claims to the test to see if they actually live up to the hype.

Two quick but important things:
1. The biggest complaint I got when I posted the longer version of this video was the price. I reached out to Misen and asked if they had any sales coming up or could offer a discount for my viewers. Good news: they gave me code PRUDENT20 for 20% off through October 7. Click the product icon on the screen, then use PRUDENT20 at checkout to get the discount.
2. If you want to see all of the tests, including the microwave, leak, freezer, dishwasher, stain, durability, and drop tests, watch the full video linked on screen.
IKEA do similar ones
I would argue the container itself survived the drop. Just not the lid. But that's ok, there's still all of the other lids lol
man why would you drop a glass container on purpose?
Doing God's work, friend. Keep it up.
Hmm, bummer, I need containers that will survive me throwing them out my second floor window regularly.
Back to the drawing board I guess!
I immediately don’t trust your review due to you testing the drop durability against a GLASS container. It makes it disingenuous, we all know glass will shatter. You could, and should have, used plastic so it would have been a similar durability test. So due to you skimping on that one, how do i know the rest were done properly or with no bias? 😒
I’ll still lose the bloody lids
I like the stacking. it looks like they won't get stuck with each other like glass ones.
Having one lid that fits every container sounds…exactly like every other container system on the market. If I only owned one size of one variety of say, Rubbermaid containers, all my lids would be interchangeable too. This isn’t a special quality. Now, when Misen makes containers that never result in me somehow winding up with eight containers and only six lids to go with them, lemme know.
I don't think I'll ever be comfortable putting something metal in a microwave 😅
…who tries to put a whole carrot in their tupperware??
Only extremely big ones can accommodate.
You have massive chest
I wouldn’t trust anything from Misen. I originally bought their knives when they were a brand new company because they promised free sharpening for life. Let me let you take a guess on whether they’re still honoring their free sharpening for life…. The answer is no they’re not. Not only do you have to pay to have your knives sharpened that they said you would have sharpened for free forever, you have to pay for multiple knives even if you only have one SMH. Stop getting these companies your business that fuck over their customers! Taking away something they used to get you to buy the product doesn’t matter how many years later is WORNG! Misen will never get another DIME from me! Fuck them!
Holy 30 bucks per container is a wild price
Won't break many products say that and many times they do break
i was opened minded about the price but it was far more than I could ever justify.
IMHO Ikea 365+ > oxo
Prohibitively expensive!
i hate the lid like that. if their next one has a lock system, i will buy it.
