I agree with the ones who say Speckled Sussex. I just hope they are not all roosters 😅
I just have to say how much I love PEACHES🫶🏼🧡🐷
Maybe the mystery chickens are Red Pyle chickens?
I don't know, but that's what my quick search came up with
Your flock is beautiful. They are all so healthy looking.

Hello 👋 Jason and Brooke 😅❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The mystery chickens, the top of their head and part of their head almost makes you think of a pheasant but I'm not sure what it actually is it? It's very different. Look up the picture of a ring. Ringneck pheasant
A guess could be Easter Eggers or Speckled Sussex? Even wilder guess, Shamo??
Speckled sussex cross wyandotte😊
Great video! You guys always lift my spirits. Thank you for being you. I look forward to many more videos.
Finally got my cast-iron skillet. I missed the first one because it sold out so fast and I wish I could find one. I’ve been looking. But thank you so much cause I love it and cast-iron. It’s absolutely our favorite. I think Brooke for the biscuit recipe because I will be keeping that for life.
You can hear them on the basil. Literally you can hear him. You got to listen real close but you can hear them. It is amazing how beautiful that basil is and I know the smell is probably phenomenal but to see the pollinators on there it. It's really really nice
This is what i got from co pilot.
Reddish‑Brown Chicken with White on the Wings — Likely a Red Sexlink or Similar Hybrid
Based on the description and forum discussion, a reddish‑brown chicken with white feathers in the wings is most often a Red Sexlink or a related hybrid such as a Golden Comet, ISA Brown, or Red Star
BackYard Chickens
BackYard Chickens
. These birds are produced by crossing a red‑based breed (like Rhode Island Red) with a white‑based breed (like White Leghorn) to combine good egg production with attractive coloration.
Why it’s likely a Red Sexlink
Color pattern: These chicks often hatch all red or cinnamon‑brown, then develop white “pencils” or patches” in the long wing feathers as they grow. This is a hallmark of many red sexlinks
BackYard Chickens
BackYard Chickens
.
Breeding origin: They are typically the result of a red‑based male (e.g., Rhode Island Red) crossed with a white‑based female (e.g., White Leghorn). The white wing feathers come from the white‑based parent’s genes.
Common names: Depending on the breeder, you might see them sold as Golden Comet, ISA Brown, Red Star, Gold Sexlink, or simply “Red Sexlink”
BackYard Chickens
BackYard Chickens
.
Not a Production Red: A true Production Red (like a Rhode Island Red) has black tail and large wing feathers, not white
BackYard Chickens
BackYard Chickens
.
Not a Cinnamon Queen: That breed is Rhode Island Red × Silver Laced Wyandotte, which does not produce white wing feathers

Other possibilities
Ameraucana “Brown‑Red” color
Farmhouse Guide
Farmhouse Guide
: This breed can have reddish‑brown bodies, but its wing feathers are not typically white; the white‑wing trait is more common in sexlinks.
Easter Egger or mixed‑breed “Egg Layer” chicks
My Pet Chicken
My Pet Chicken
: These can show variable colors, but the specific reddish‑brown + white wing pattern is most often a red sexlink.
How to confirm
Check the breeder’s list: Many hatcheries (e.g., Rural King) list the exact breeds in their “choice brown egg layer” category
BackYard Chickens
BackYard Chickens
.
Look at adult examples: Photos of adult Golden Comets, ISA Browns, and Red Stars show the same reddish‑brown body with white wing feathers.
Observe egg color: Many of these hybrids lay brown or olive‑green eggs, which can help narrow it down.
In short: Your bird is almost certainly a Red Sexlink or similar red‑based hybrid (Golden Comet, ISA Brown, Red Star) — a popular egg‑laying cross that naturally develops white in the wing feathers as it matures

Hope this helps

There not a app for chickens
Does Mary Carl have any guesses on the mystery chicks?
How interesting! I never knew there were that many kinds of chickens!
Great video, thank you❤
Is Tina the only one left of the 3 girls?
You 2 are something else. Brooke I started laughing when you pretended to be Holly loving on Jason ❤
Don't ask Google thus far the images has come back some type of quail three varieties a dove variety and I can't remember the other file it came back as but no chickens were involved whatsoever so Google don't know everything
Brooke, I think you need to call the feed store and ask what breeds they got in last batches. It'll help widdle down the breed and make it easier to look up.
Could that chicken be a comet?
Loved the visit wit the chickens, I like how they kind of gathered around y’all. It was fun to see Brooke trying to mimic Holly on the side by side. Enjoyed the video.
Google picture 1 see what Google has to say
Could you check them on Merlin? 🎉
