IS THE TRACK COMPATABLE WITH WEN?????? I am blown away on the redesign, would definitely buy Kreg's track saw for sure… I may buy the universal mount for crosscuts anyway
This ACS universal track is just as bad as previous one. Cheap plastic base and clamps make it unusable. Has near 1/16" of deflection no matter how you set it up. Also feels like it wants to fall over regardless of what saw I use. Was excited about this but unfortunately kreg didn't do what they should have…. USED BETTER MATERIALS!
Get the milescraft version that is 5 years old and still the best. I'd pay $50 more for an Aluminum base, aluminum clamps and saw blade spacer for easy set up. However, it's the same price as kregs version. Only down side is proprietary tracks. Not a big deal considering the price of additional tracks are reasonable. Parallel bars from tso work so that's all I care about.
I bought an Accu-Cut earlier this year for my circular saw, as I’ve just started wood working and I love it. These are nice upgrades to the system, I’m hoping that the 90/45 degree guide works with it. I’m in the UK and really like the Kreg gear, but we don’t always get the same kit. If I was to eventually buy a plunge saw I’ll probably get a Kreg.

to bad they won't be selling the accucut sled separately as the old version was a piece of trash. That's just a way for them to make more money and not help their previous buyers!
a track saw jig for the circular saw can be made with two long pieces of wood in about 10 minutes

I just wonder, are Kreg tools availlable here in europe?
I would love to see them update their table metal tape measurement strips that go in the groove of the table. Not sure if it's just mine or others as well ,but I found mine is not printed accurate. As you read it with another tape the kregh metal strips go off marks as further down the numbers you go. I find one side is almost accurate and the other is not and I have to use a tape measurement every time I set it up before I cut and line it up my self all the time and have a straight accurate cut. Other than that I love everything about it. Parallel guides and the reputable guide cuts are somewhat okay and find they can easily get out of alignment as well because of the plastic. If they can reinvent that and upgrade it like the square tool that would be awesome or else one would be best to invest in those expensive ones that festool uses. Just little things to adjust and I would say it would be perfect for using it for pretty much anything. Thank you and kregh hope you hear us on these little tweeks that can be done easily. Can kreg create optional metal versions of their components (at a higher price point)? That is one of my biggest reasons for avoiding their accessories.
Makita track is compatible with a Festool saw, but the tensioner adjustment does require slightly more tightening.

I am going to put this on my Christmas list! I have largely shied away from using a circular saw through the years due to feeling intimidated. But got brave a couple of years ago. But for a lot of projects this track would really help.
Thanks for the review Matt. I just put in an order for the Accu-cut. I wanted a track saw but could not bring myself to spend the money required. This is a good option to try out with the ability to upgrade. Unfortunately, the link from this video to Kreg did not work for me, so you lost the referral. I think the problem is within my anti-tracking and anti-phishing software. Keep up the good work.
finally a company getting smarter. the idea of "Proprietory" design, is a great way to end your business. There is zero reason not to have universal designs.
Is this compatible with worm drive saws?
As a broke hobbyist, I bought the ACCU-Cut first and made it work for a couple years. I went with Makita for a corded tracksaw for the universal track, but with KREG going universal, their Domino competitor hitting the market, and their awesome, consumer friendly business model, I might be switching more tool over to KREG.
I purchased the Kreg track with the attachment for my other circular saw and it sucks. It doesn’t fit my saws and I wasted money on that attachment. Love the track , I hate I have to buy another saw to match the track.

This looks really cool. For my uses an MFT table is mainly for track saw tracks and rails.

Have we heard if the new Accu-cut system will work with existing parallel guide options? Is Kreg making their own parallel guides? With the pieces to connect the Accu-cut rails together, would something like a router guide still work in the guide rail like a standard one?
Nice design. The fact that it is metal and not cheap plastic means alot.

FK! I just bought the Milescraft TrackSaw Guide. Now I'm stuck into that profile that has ZERO support for anything else.
My circular saw died so this is great timing for me.
Congrats to Kreg for upgrading their system! That said, a circular saw will never replace a track saw. I just used a circular saw saw for the first time in a long time a couple of days ago, and I was reminded of how much dust they spew out. If you can afford it, a track saw is a much better option.

I'm not really understanding the purpose of that 90/45 square. He showed it being attached to the track, but not how a cut is made with it.
I wish the leveling tab could be moved in, closer to the track. If your board is narrower, the tab is useless. A T Slot along the edge would be a good feature to accommodate this.
Smart move on Kregs part. Instead of fighting the competition, work with it. Propriety does not pay in the long run.
