This episode was one of the best in months. Both Jared and Jordana gave excellent advice. The dude offering nothing but his body next to hers on the couch is ubiquitous! First of all, I think these men are getting lazier and lazier on these dating websites. They don’t even know how to communicate. They use AI to write their bio. And they all messaged the same thing. What are you up to this weekend? .. boring 🥱

I once dated a guy that was 15 years younger than me. Super hot we had so much fun. He was such a sweetheart, but I remember one of the first birthday cards he gave me was one of those $15 + expensive ones, The kind that pops up it might’ve had a trinket like a heart charm attached to it or something. It was just a beautiful card . But he wrote nothing. He thought the card was enough like whatever was printed in the card he thought was the message. He didn’t know he was supposed to write something. 🤦🏼♀
it’s nice to receive cards and gifts letters of notes from somebody… Because they chose to. It’s a sincere gesture. But when you forcefully demand it of them… You’re taking away the magic of a sweet gesture since it’s now a rule it’s a chore and I don’t blame him for using AI. What does it even matter? You don’t seem to care about his sincere feelings. Just the fact that you’re receiving a card.
Omg the one about handing out your number bothers me so much. First of all didn’t we do this question already? And how old is this emailer? 22!? In my 20s and up until my early 30s, I didn’t care about giving my number out, but then I met this one guy. Well, kinda. He worked in the UK, but popped up on my dating app after he came to my city (Munich) for an interview, to later on start a phd there. Turns out he didn’t (probably lied about the whole thing) and instead he stayed in the uk. We texted forever during the pandemic and never once met up. Then I started receiving creepy phone calls (no answer, only heavy breathing) which lead me to not once answering unknown callers again after that
