Pedro is SPOT ON with what killed the Yankees in the 2024 WS. You can SOMETIMES get around physical errors. These are part of the game. But Chisholm's wild throw in the 1st inning is a flagrant example of a MENTAL ERROR ( which ended up being a physical one too). Bad decision to throw that ball. He should have eaten it. The Yankees should have been down by 3 or 4 runs right there. Credit the pitching for hanging in there.
But getting back to what Pedro said, the mental errors are going to get the Yankees eliminated…..and they only have themselves to blame.
Defense can completely change a game and this was a perfect example of that

This is just another typical Aaron Boone coached team…no discipline…too much emphasis on launch angle and spin rate…they don't work the counts, and get themselves out…their defense is horrible…they can't run the bases, they don't slide properly…they lack baseball IQ and there's ZERO accountability…it's unfathomable that Boone and Cashman are still there!
