Ok I remember the war horse set how they explain all these puppeteers and the actors just ignore them. There were some people acting as the fence. Not a puppeteer, not an actor, literally in a T acting as a fence. Best immerssion trick ever. Can't hide the puppeteers? Make the entire set out of human posers.
What do you think of Dame Francis Yates' theory that the "memory theater" illustrations used in memory training actually look like normal/typical theaters of the period?
Alright J Draper delete the video now. I’ve been telling all my family that came visit that the globe was the real thing and they cant find out the truth now
Nice armour however Shakespeare was not as good as Christopher Marlow was but Marlow was Catholic so that’s why he was forgotten by history. Although the romantic era was more about the drugs and the belief that they were more intelligent than anything that happened before them. I could go on but this isn’t the time or space for that.

All he needed to do was order some swallows to firmly grasp a coconut but the husk and bring it over to him so he could use them for horses.
This lady needs a series on BBC history documentary. She really brings history alive, she has a brilliant delivery
Queen Calanthe vibe
Can they do the magical xrayish thing they did to the pyramids to see inside?
If it's under there somewhere, we've got the technology now. We could scan it.

I am so here for that armor
I love that suit of armour.
Cry God for Harry, England and St George.
I watched Cleopatra back in 2024. It was a bit hard to see everything as we were seated behind the pillar on the right hand side of the stage.
looks more like a cylinder

I'm perfectly fine with tearing down Anchor Terrace to better facilitate the excavation of the original Globe Theatre.
But I'm not a English citizen, so what do I know. 🤗
Who is your armorer? A fine suit!
Ground Penetrating Radar and Sonar can be used to scan the grounds of the original and re-located Globe.

Suit of armor, Polish flag…I'm guessing Fartinbrass about to enter in the last scene of Hamlet.
The hair… the make up… exquisite
loveley
I don't think that armor would protect you very well in a battle. Just saying.
i am, in all earnesty, mindblown by how good that cardboard armour looks!
ah, theatre of the mind
i love and am here for the shakes facts but your fit / hair / dirt / props are AMAZING 🔥 you look spectacular

And modern actors complain about working on green screen.
I'll take this stormtrooper's word for it
Love your armor ❤
This hair on you is great. The short curly / textured look is fab
I wonder could they use lidar technology like they do in the Amazon to see more of what The Globe would have looked like.
Already watched the full version.

Have you got a surdo on your back there?
I like the historically accurate corrigated lines and can-ring marks of your armour. It's the little details that make it! 😉
I saw many things in London, but seeing a live evening performance at The Globe for £7 (in 2024) was truly the highlight of my visit.
The short starts "Actually we don't what the Globe looked like"
Oh no! She has become a flat earther 😅
"We can't just blow it up and have a look at what's underneath".
I have to admit, that never occurred to me as a solution. 😀
Wait! What happened? You look like you’ve seen better days
The thumbnail made me think this was gonna be a Star Wars fan film
"The solemn temples, the Great Globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve. And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff as dreams are made on, and our little life is rounded with a sleep."
It's a GREAT video! Go watch it right now!
That cardboard armor is mega
I do wonder, using modern budgets and technology he would come up with.
Shakespeare potentially loving “Good Morning Baltimore” makes me chuckle. I love it.
