What makes a car truly timeless? That’s the question Callum Mullin set out to answer as he spent time with the newest edition of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
In this walkaround, the up-and-coming automotive tastemaker explores why the S-Class has always been more than just a flagship. From leaders and creatives to car enthusiasts across generations, it’s a vehicle that has quietly shaped how the world understands luxury, comfort and innovation.
The latest S-Class continues that legacy in a way that feels both familiar and forward-looking. From its illuminated grille and DIGITAL LIGHT headlamps to the calm, sanctuary-like interior, every detail is designed to create a sense of ease the moment you step inside. MANUFAKTUR personalisation, advanced ambient lighting, a refined MBUX experience powered by MB.OS and first-class rear-seat comfort all come together in an environment that feels less like a car – and more like a place to arrive.
Nearly 140 years ago, Carl Benz filed patent DRP 37435 that marked the birth of the automobile. Since then, Mercedes-Benz has continued to redefine what a flagship model can be – with the S-Class often leading the way, introducing innovations that would later shape the entire industry. Today, that heritage meets the present. A place of calm in a busy world. A car that connects generations. And still quietly sets the benchmark time and again.
Watch as Callum takes you through the details, the atmosphere, and the feeling that has made the S-Class an icon for decades.

When will Mercedes wake up & listen to its customers? There are numerous fails with this model. Screens instead of metal controls, inferior headlight design, even the steering wheel looks like a puffy marshmallow oddity. Hard no! Return to the W222 sanity!
Sorry China already many steps ahead. 👍🏻🤩
Amen
Friends, why are you napping so much, Dad, we are now in an era where technology has the first word, now the whole car industry is like this, Mercedes has not electrified this S class, even though it is not electric, it is very

Omoda?
The screens are horrible and so outdated with all that black bezel around. What a joke.
is this script written with AI? examples…
1:56 "It's not loud, it's subtle it's simply S-Class"
4:20 "And in a world where we're all drowning in menus, layers and steps, zero-layer brings all the things you need to the surface"
7:00 "It doesn't follow an era, it defines one"
Interior just awesome ❤
Oh boy… Just bring back the 221! 😂

I used to think the Daimler chrysler era was the worst
Very cool and nice 😅😅❤❤
I have a real question for car enthusiasts.
If the future trend is unfortunately moving toward more and bigger screens, and every new model adds even larger displays than the previous generation… then what happens next?
Mercedes-Benz used to be a symbol of luxury, but now some of their interiors are basically one giant screen covering the whole dashboard except the air vents.
So my question is: What will Mercedes do in the next 50 years if they want to keep “improving” the interior screens? Where can they even go from here? How can the screens get any bigger?
Will car companies eventually stop changing interiors completely and only redesign the exterior, while these giant ugly screens stay forever?
I’m genuinely asking and I’d really like to hear opinions from real car enthusiasts.
努力让自己有生之年拥有一台。🎉
Mercedes is not silent anymore . It’s not subtle. Its looks like a festival with lot of lighting . Old merc s better.like louis Vuitton says LV. Now you have illuminated grill and three point stars on lamps . It’s screaming snobbishness. Merc is officially dead. It’s now a car to showoff.
Because you’re a perfect brand ambassador. Knowledgeable and stunning with a fantastic voice. I couldn’t keep my eyes off you and had to watch video again to focus on the car.
Ugly headlights and tail lights 🤮🤮🤮
The era of German cars is over, and it's time for Chinese cars.
China will copy this sell half price
