News Helicopters swarming dangerously over a heavily populated neighborhood, are responsible for 3, including Edy Gutierrez Mejia who was riding a bicycle. You wouldn't have been buzzing like vultures over a car crash in Beverly Hills.

Murder charges do exist for dui traffic accidents that result in death. It is called a "Watson Murder" named after a case involving a person by the last name of Watson. The criteria are pretty strict, and the DA will have to prove that the driver committed the act with Implied Malice. I am assuming she already had a DUI on her record involving drugs or alcohol and also attended an AA or rehab program. This is one of the criteria needed for the case.
It should be an unbailable crime. She should be imprisoned for life.

My condolences to the families of those who were killed. As for the charges being reserved for the described behavior, her actions fit the charge of murder. She ws driving city streets at an extremely high speed in heavy traffic with a heavy SUV; I think she knowingly put people's lives in danger. Give her the max time in prison.
