  1. This tactic required a lot of luck. Hadn't Alexander's men on the right managed to win – they would not be able to attack the immortals. Not to mention that macedonian left flank was almost destroyed in battle.

  2. Persian are shown to have so many troops, let they're not using them all in the same time? Plus they sent the first attack down the center just to die.

  3. WHY IS IRAN SO STRONG NOW AND GREECE HAS TO BEG EUROPE?😊
IS IT POSSIBLE, THAT A LOT OF THIS WESTERN STORIES ARE LIES?
AND WHY IS THE IRANIAN LANGUAGE THE MOTHER OF EURO-INDIAN LANGUAGE AND NOT GREECE IR MACEDONIAN?
AND WHY IS THE WEST C4YING RIGHT NOW, BECAUSE IRAN CLOSED THE GREAT IRANIAN STREET OF HORMOZ.
    BECAUSE OF THE HATERED.😂

  4. Why did Darius have such a big line behind him? Woudlnt it be smarter for him to have them more surrounding of him instead of 4 troops in the front and 10 in the back

  5. Alexander only won, because his speers were longer than that of his enemy. Their speers were made of two parts for easy carrying, but in battle they were fit together and stuck well out of his phalanx.

  6. Love the convenience of the left two enemy units on the right flank just disappearing at the right moment in order to give Alexander the units to attack with . And this isnt how the battle went take a look at JFC fullers book

  7. Oh wow, this illustration showed it better than all the ones I've seen before. I understand clearly now the oblique tactic. The oblique tactic was to ensure Darius' cavalry to his right is far enough so that it won't be able to get back to help Darius. Alexander also lured Darius' elite center to engage his phalanx, thus exposing Darius' to Alexander's counter attack. Alexander's target was always Darius' center but he had to lure out the immortals before he could do it. Damn, it's like Alexander is a counter punching boxer, luring Darius to lunge, thus exposing him to a KO punch to the chin after exposing himself to a full attack. Well done Kings and Generals.

  8. Darius was a total moron, he had twice the number of alexander's troops and kept a large amount of them in reserve, instead of telling all of them to just attack alexander at the same time. Nothing here makes any logical sense. No one with half a brain should be this stupid.
