These are all arguably demonstrable or empirical facts:
Trump and many in his orbit are known criminals.
Trump has committed crimes while in office and presumably will continue to do so. This is also true of those in his orbit.
Mike Johnson admitted as much. Steve Bannon has admitted as much. Trump has admitted as much. When they state that they all could face prosecution if the Democrats take back control of the House and Senate, that is an admission of wrongdoing.

A: I strongly suspect that Trump and Hegseth are "shopping" for military leaders willing to participate in a coup. This creeping billionaires' coup has already been initiated. They are looking for "leaders" who would be willing to commit crimes against Greenlanders, Canadians, and, yes, Americans.
If they shop the scenarios around within a "training" scenario, they can avoid potential conspiracy charges. If they ask, again, within a "training" environment, they can discover who will do their bidding.
