  1. I accidentally updated my console to 14.10. Will there be a way to jailbreak it in the future, or did Sony completely patch jailbreaking for this version?

  2. Solution:
    1. Take 5 to 10 big game companies, or more like:
    – Konami
    – Naughty Dog
    – Santa Monica Studio
    – Insomniac Games
    – Sucker Punch Productions
    – Guerrilla Games
That should sit together to create their own game console.

    2. Each of them should produce a game demo and show it to the world

    3. Collect money from the community, like pre-order or a GoFundMe model

    4. Go to China and produce your game console for the people, that is also developer friendly

    5. Sony will learn that the game community is important. Now it can change for good or end up like SEGA.

  3. Let me explain something because you're confusing your personal dislike of Sony with actual business facts. Sony was founded in 1946, nearly 50 years before PlayStation existed. When Sony entered gaming in 1994, Nintendo and Sega were already established competitors. Yet Sony built one of the most successful console businesses in gaming history. The original PlayStation sold over 102 million units, the PS2 exceeded 160 million, and the PS4 surpassed 117 million. That's not a failing company. That's decades of demonstrated success. And here's something interesting: Sony's gaming division generated approximately 4.7 trillion yen in revenue during its fiscal year ending March 2026, roughly twice Nintendo's annual revenue. Nintendo had a higher operating profit margin, but Sony generated more gaming revenue and operating profit. Now, does that mean Sony is perfect? Absolutely not. Sony deserves criticism for expensive hardware, subscriptions, questionable business decisions, and failed investments. But explain something to me. Why is Sony greedy for trying to make money while Microsoft, Nintendo, Nvidia, Valve, and every other major gaming corporation are somehow different? Microsoft owns Xbox, Activision Blizzard, Bethesda, and Minecraft. Nintendo aggressively protects its intellectual property and charges premium prices for many of its games. Valve makes billions through Steam's digital marketplace, and Nvidia sells high-end graphics cards at premium prices. And you think switching to PC means you've escaped corporate greed? You're simply spending your money in another corporate ecosystem. PC gaming offers genuine advantages, including greater hardware flexibility, modding, multiple storefronts, and potentially better performance, but those advantages don't automatically make PC gaming corporations more ethical than Sony. Here's the difference between criticism and bias: criticism applies consistent standards to everybody, while bias singles out one company and excuses competitors for similar practices. Sony has made mistakes. So has Microsoft. So has Nintendo. So has virtually every major company in gaming. You don't have to like PlayStation, and you don't have to buy Sony products. That's your choice. But don't confuse your personal preference with objective analysis of the gaming industry. If we're going to discuss which gaming company delivers the best value, let's compare hardware prices, game libraries, performance, subscriptions, consumer rights, profits, and long-term business performance. Because when you actually examine the industry's history, Sony isn't some uniquely evil corporation ruining gaming. It's one of several giant corporations competing for your money. And criticizing Sony while giving every other corporation a free pass isn't holding the gaming industry accountable. It's picking favorites. You can't claim to be against corporate greed while defending the same business practices whenever your favorite company benefits from them. If you're going to hold Sony accountable, hold Microsoft, Nintendo, Valve, Nvidia, and everybody else accountable too. Otherwise, you're not arguing from facts or principles. You're defending a preference while pretending it's an objective standard.

  4. So short sighted by gamers though. Like what do you think would happen. If this is only old titles. Then that means most gamers are HAPPY with playing games they've already played. I mean i'm doing that now. Playing old console games on PC. Or even old PC games. But that doesn't fix the industry. It just means i'm segregated to old titles 🤣

Remember the issue with gamers. Addiction. And no gamer has said WE ARE NOT GOING TO BUY OR PLAY NEW GAMES ANYMORE because of what you've done 🤣 No, all that has happened is older games are now being made available. That's the funny part. Like many don't know the street hustle

How is the customer going to hustle the dealer. When it's the customer who's the addict.. 🤣 No addict wants the weak gear. They want the latest & best. But remember, you're arguing with the dealer. He can cut off the supply. He can cut the product. He can raise the price & he can also stop selling certain products. The only option the addict gamer has is to STOP playing. But that's out of the question, right 🤣

So then nostalgia gaming is the future. You see, even these lazy ass studios are just doing remasters. The gamer who takes this angle of putting 2 fingers up to PS or even Xbox. Don't realise they will just be playing nostalgia anyway.. 😆 I realised this a few ago. This is why i'm not complaining about what PS does. I didn't forget the relationship. PS are the dealer and i WAS the addict. I stopped being the addict…

  5. Sony won’t ever meet their former glory unless they gut most of the leadership across all departments. We should be on our 3rd ratchet and clank title this generation. Jak should have been rebooted so I can go mad maxing through the desert. It’s all wrong!!
