F-16 is costing about $60 – $80 million dollars. Compare to F-47, which is Trump new jet. F-47 is costing 300 million dollars.

A $35,000,000 jet, designed by the best engineers, or whoever, taken down by a bird. 🤔
Pathetic
Bro got a free bonfire in his yard..get the hot dogs🎉🎉
Ok…. At this point. I wouldn't be surprised if the biting & eating starts happening.

As of September 18, 2026, there have been at least 60 publicly verifiable and widely reported U.S. military aircraft crashes or total losses in 2026 (including combat losses and routine non-combat crashes). Of these, about 44 were combat losses and about 16 were routine non-combat crashes, resulting in at least 22 deaths.

The pilot will probably never fly again. The ejection seat forces cause spinal injuries.
It was a bird strike, probably caught on a flock camera.
Theres been so many crashes and mistakes with jets in this conflict that it makes you wonder how less were downed over many years in other active warzones
Put a cowardly draft dodger and a drunk in charge …
Ok good day to change careers.
