I’ve been traveling the world a bit. One of the most incredible experiences was getting to visit Taiwan with Jensen Huang. It was wild 🤯 Huge crowds, insanely good street food at night markets, and of course a lot of good conversations across many days. I caught some of it on video, this is it.
Thanks for watching. Love you all ❤ Check out our sponsors:

AWESOME NERDS.
Slop King 👑
I did not expect the head of the world's largest company to be so humble
58:34 That’s not really a thing anymore as people actually tend to not want to waste food. You’d likely inly do that if you are actually at someone’s home who is much older a d therefore much more traditional. Good on you for doing some research though.
😆
I think I gained a few pounds just watching this. I've never seen Lex do a food podcast, especially with Jensen. Good job.
The best thing you ever did man ❤
AWESOME!
🤘🏼👹🤘🏼
jensen the baller
Jensen is the GOAT ceo, NVDA terribly undervalued company.
Nice. Meanwhile, a $279 16TB harddisk in my NAS is blinking red and it will cost $900 to replace it.
Jensen Incredible natural human , i'm so impressed
Warning: Don’t watch this video while hungry…
This a million percent not what I expected from Lex or Jensen, this was unbelievable cool! Jenson is one of the most trusting and humble people out there considering he heads the largest company ever. Also seeing Lex party a little with out his tie and hours of prep was just as cool!
His vibe with his wife around 56min is incredible
You know a famous person is a good guy when he goes home and he is beloved by the locals! I really enjoyed this!
Pepper bun sounds amazing

Looking forward to Lex in Korea/Japan
Pan Jensen witany jest niczym gwiazda ,uwielbiaja Go wszyscy!
Wspanialy czlowiek ktory zmienia nasz swiat. Wszystkiego dobrego Panie Jensen ,jest Pan nasza nadzieja na lepsze jutro!
jensen needs to learn how bad seed oils are for you. this night market has a lot of canola and other seed oils and it is soooo toxic. causes diabetes. heart disease. inflammation bomb. 😮
35:50 Lex simply fails to understand Jensen. Jensen says the reason for success is the capacity for generosity and kindness and to help others (fundamental cooperative traits) which Lex then translates to 'the capacity to work hard'. It isn't that. If one works hard, solely for one's own benefit, then one tends to take from others, and to reduce the willingness of others to work hard on the same project. To work hard together on large projects, which is required for large projects to proceed, then people must be able to work cooperatively together, and that demands effective systems of cheat detection, mitigation, and prevention.
In this sense, it is cooperation (not competition) that is fundamental to the existence and survival of complexity.
Until America understands this – it is a danger to itself and everyone else.
I have watched and listened to Lex interviews for many years, and Lex often talks about love, and that is important, and it is really deeper – much deeper.
If you get deeply into evolutionary strategy then it is clear that purely competitive systems tend to drive that system to some local minima on the available complexity landscape, which reduces both complexity and diversity, and when that landscape changes (as they always do, for a very large set of reasons), then that system tends to go extinct. To maintain diversity and complexity over the long-term requires cooperation, and the greatest threat to cooperation is always defection or cheating, and arguably most of modern law and finance has now been invaded by cheating strategies at multiple levels.
Life and Liberty are important fundamental values (they fall straight out of the definition of life I now find most useful: systems capable of searching {liberty} the space of the possible for the survivable {life}), and for liberty to survive it demands responsibility – to avoid creating threats to survival, or damaging any of the necessary sets of systems and constraints present and required for survival.
Life really is deeply more complex than most people seem either willing or able to seriously contemplate.
The American obsession with competition over cooperation is life threatening (all human life, and lots of other species).
There is nothing wrong with competition, if it is built on a cooperative base that is fundamentally respectful of life and liberty, and of all the diversity that must result from any real expression of liberty. If liberty is to mean anything, it is both the ability and the right to be different, and to stay safe in that difference (provided that you are not in any way unreasonably threatening the life or liberty of anyone else).
Any system based purely in competition is, demonstrably, beyond any shadow of reasonable doubt, a threat to everyone else.
@44:23 Jensen says goodwill is not a zero sum game.
Jensen goes on to talk about force multipliers, and hoarding (cheating).
Jensen's concept of a flywheel isn't all wrong, but he fails to accurately describe how America got ahead – America did not get any of its productive facilities bombed in WW2, and it essentially financed all of that industry by taking the British Empire through Lend Lease, and taking the oil industry via economic and technological (and occasionally military) means.
If the metric one uses to measure success is growth only, then yes, America is undeniably the most successful; but if you use that metric in any living system, then cancer is the the most successful part of any organism, right up until it kills the organism. Cancer results when a cell stops communicating with it neighbours and working cooperatively with them for the survival of the whole, and starts using all available resources for growth, without any regard to the organism as a whole. That is, arguably, America today.
Competition, without a cooperative base, is a long-term threat to complexity (us) all levels, all domains, necessarily.
I work in Critical Infrastructure Construction, 15 years experience. I can tell you the grid build out is STILL majorly lacking, and no one in it understands it! They’re doing great job of building out the data center infrastructure, but the energy infrastructure is a total flop. Borderline dilapidated in some major areas even!
