A 19-year-old male died after suffering life-threatening injuries in a crash when the Ford F-150 he was riding in crashed into a Colorado State Patrol vehicle on I-70 and then into a semi that was involved in a previous crash.

I had to watch this again to get the details because I was too distracted by the propaganda reader's weird accent.
Its almost as distracting as the blinding emergency vehicle lights.
I'm going to take a guess here that a the cruiser, at least had the proper lights on. The rear-facing emergency lights and that made things completely. And utterly obvious. That as the person approached, they should be paying attention. Also, I'm going to point out that I am old enough to remember when it was the old police rotators. Which were much less intense light and much easier to judge the distance of so that could have played a potential factor but clearly the fact that these Lights that can be more easily seen from a much furlough distance, and the person with not paying attention, just goes to show distracted. Driving realistically, and it sounds like the person driving the pickup truck didn't even bother slowing down. Whatsoever, as they approached an emergency vehicle potentially in their lane, which had they bothered to slow down a bit, they might have had time to react to avoid hitting, said, emergency vehicle, with its flashing lights on. And all that stuff but yes, clearly this is a case of distracted driving realistically, and it's just too bad that it's the passenger who died an innocent person Vs the driver that would have been a more fitting. And appropriate situation that still does leave this person, depending on what the accident finds facing vehicular, manslaughter or even involuntary manslaughter charges. If they are seen at fault, which is highly likely to be the case, not to mention the fact that this person who was driving the F150 who was not paying good enough attention to the surroundings around them could potentially be facing civil lawsuits from this incident. As well.
