U.S. Marine Corps Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 224 “Fighting Bengals” has applied its latest tiger stripe livery to the squadron’s F-35B Lightning II commanding officer’s aircraft (modex WK-00). VMFA-224 previously featured a similar tiger stripe paint scheme on its F/A-18D Hornets, and completed its transition from the F/A-18D Hornet to the F-35B Lightning II in June 2025.
