Houston rap legend Z-Ro drops by the Factor for an exclusive sit-down about his highly anticipated new 15-track album, Forever King, releasing this week. The Mo City Don opens up about his creative process, the story behind his new singles, and what it means to continue cementing his legendary status in the Texas hip-hop scene.
Forever King is stacked. It runs 15 tracks and 54 minutes, with Keiara Trenae on the title track and guest spots from Kook and That Mexican OT.
The singles came first. “Capricorn” and a new track with Kook dropped ahead of the album, giving fans a preview of the sound.
And he’s not slowing down. Forever King is Z-Ro’s second album of 2026 and his fourth since the start of 2025, after Unappreciated and Kingz of the South, Vol. 2.
