This is what ‘should be’ for all what ‘common’ ‘sense’ sounds like when talking about AI technology in the hands of creatives and artists as a tool of assistance (not invasive) v. technology ‘controlling’ humans (invasive) and “wanting” in any autonomous way to compete with humans or eliminate them – Ben, you definitely get it and ‘know’ what you’re talking about… the problem isn’t the tech, it’s ‘who’ (the human) behind the tech 💯

I’m saying it here, I’m going to be very upset if there isn’t a 2-4 hour interview with Ben on the Lex Fridman Podcast by the end of the year. Not for his technical knowledge, which he admits hisself is “knows enough to be dangerous,”. But deep dives into the nuances of what realistic expectations look like as a person who’s still very interested in creative rights. And also since he has access most of us don’t, what some of the overhyped parts are and what the actual proven things his company did, and specifically the limitations. The minutiae matter. And Lex vs the other big names we all know because Lex’s domain is computers and technology, so focus on that.
