  1. You're a good man, Rino. I speak for everyone that we appreciate your sincerity and your efforts to make sense of a web-page builder whose developers had no intention in making a good product for paying customers.

  2. I recently watched another very well known Elementor "guru" today and I was wondering. -How is Elementor even surviving the AI revolution. Their MCP does badly what other platforms do better … without all the dive and elementor bloat.. my go-to is Astro on Vervel with Payload for CMS . Looking forward to seeing what you post in the future – I always really liked watching your videos because of the thought process and the mind behind the design. 🎉

  3. When I first bought your Elementor course, I was really enthusiastic, and I learned a lot from you. But over time, I started to see and understand Elementor's limitations, so I tried Breakdance and left Elementor behind. I rebuilt my sites in Breakdance one by one and was really happy with it. That was when I stopped following your content as closely, because you were still focused on Elementor.

Then Claude Code came along, and I gradually started moving from Breakdance to HTML with Claude Code. At first, I built individual sections with code and realised that my sites were lighter and faster, and I was saving 60% of my time. That made me think I could probably take things even further.

So I trained Claude to work like a proper web designer, and now I build websites directly in HTML, without WordPress. And voilà! I'm saving 80% of my time, with visuals I never imagined I could create in Elementor or Breakdance. Automation, custom functionality, no more plugin updates, and far fewer security concerns.

So, Rino, now that I've seen your vlog, it feels like we can reconnect! I've subscribed to your newsletter, and I can't wait to see what you'll share with us next.

By the way, you should give your AI a name and tell us what you call it. Guess what mine is called? MAX, after Max Verstappen! :))) A fellow Dutchman of yours! :)))

  4. I switched over a year ago to this kind of work flow, it just makes sense in every way and you can really get things done how you want, customizations and features can be designed more to what a customers capibilities are or needs rather than depend on plugins with bloat or poor ui design etc. etc. More creative freedom with less time used is always a good thing.

  5. Been using WordPress for 6 years, and Elementor is usually a lifesaver for fast client turnarounds. But man, the Atomic/v4 builder is such a pain! First thing I do on every fresh install is disable Atomic Elements and stick strictly with v3. It’s just so much smoother.

  6. You perform the move to Bricks I did back in Feb 2024 – but for me, Bricks is also obsolete. For WordPress based installations, I'm using EtchWP & ACSS along with AI. As I want to be able to apply all changes to the code (HTML/CSS/JS – for HTML/CSS I would consider me as an highly experienced user), EtchWp is the best tool for WP for the time being (in my opinion). And yes – I use AI to help me build the sites in EtchWP, but sometimes, I need to adjust (correct) the output of the AI and I hate reprompting on and on. My workflow so far: I use a specialised AI skill in Claude for discovery, which asks a bunch of questions and at the end collects all information on what the client wants to achive with the site (interview klasts about 2 hours going through all of the questions). Based on this, I ask Claude to build up a prototype in paper.design which the client can review and approve. Based on this, I use the EtchWP AI connector (together with some other skills for ACSS, Oh My Etch, Mega Menu Pro, Jetengine) to build up the site for me. Afterwards, I review the code and check for problems. Outside of WP, I'm also using Etch, but as Etch Studio. I use the same builder (so no two different systems to keep up with) and deployment is done in Cloudflare. Not yet perfect, but for smaler websites already usable.
Wish you all the best for your move!

  7. Same here… it was GREAT when it first came out. But now… with v4 and poor implementation… I am leaving Elementor AND WordPress. All new sites are now with Astro and I'm coding with Claude. Elementor just keep getting more messy and less intuitive and "edit in safe mode" frustrating EVERY day.

  8. Rino, I cannot tell you how helpful your videos and classes were to me and my business. Like you, I've switched up my business model. I started using Elementor in 2018 and felt like I was drinking thru a firehose to learn it while servicing new clients. Thank you for everything. So grateful for everything you gave to so many of us!

  9. I just created my own cms based on 20 years of experience working with wordpress, joomla and drupal, very similar to wordpress admin dashboard with the headache, so i also stopped with elementor did not renew my licence that i had since almost 7 years now, so no plugins, no updates nothing, client can ask any feature i just create it with claude code. as for the content updates clients can do it they have an access to do that, they can't really mess things up as i have the full admin rights , of course they can request the full admin, as you said it is their website and i will be happy to give them but most of my client trust me with that.

Actually the only reason people use CMS and builders it is because back in the days paying a developer and depending on him was a pain in the butt and expensive. now with claude code we can do it. so the very reason of the CMS and builders is no more. RIP

  10. I’ve just successfully used AI to turn an event proposal into a website, then had AI convert it into a `.json` file that could be uploaded as an Elementor Template. And then I came across your YouTube video and saw that you’re actually thinking of giving up on Elementor?! 😱 What a shock!
The arrival of AI means we have to break away from work habits we’ve built over so many years, and that takes real courage! Using AI isn’t difficult, but letting go of almost all our existing design habits and software is certainly not an easy thing to do!
Just a few days ago, I used AI to create an entire event proposal (by uploading the PDF to Canva for editing) and produce an event video. And just now, I’ve managed to use AI to create a website design that can be implemented in Elementor with about 80% of the work already done!
I’m already 54 years old. I started my career as a graphic designer at 21 and have continued to evolve into a multimedia designer. I sincerely hope that younger designers like you will keep going too, and won’t give up so easily!
AI is just a tool. A designer’s creativity is what truly matters!
Thank you, teacher, for being with us throughout all these years. I sincerely hope I can continue learning from you and following your journey into the future! ❤

  11. Cookiesino, Adminino, Boardino lol. I created most of the plugins I use for my clients too with AI. It's time to say goodbye to all those bloated full of upselling pop-ups and other unnecessary features.

  12. Me too. Moving away from elementor and I’ve totally embraced GPT codex with WordPress and work. You can literally build anything!!!!using gpt to build WP themes, plugins and apps is amazing compared to standard vibe coded sites.

  13. Ahhh!! I was one of the 1,500 people that purchased your course and it's definitely an emotional move to pivot and accept the changes!

I have always appreciated and respected you so much!! Thank you for the endless hours you've dedicated to teaching us. I'll be following everything new you release!

  14. Great news Rino. I very rarely comment on youtube but I felt obliged to do so. I have been following you for many years, learning elementor and changing my business model thanks to your videos (hosting and maintenance services etc.). You have been an inspiration to me and I'm sure you will continue being so. All the best. PS. Just curious… Can you provide a url of the website you built with the new workflow? Thank you very much

  15. Have you tested Bricks MCP as well? I'd love to check out Pencil because I also think WordPress should remain the CMS in my workflow. Will you be releasing the comment tool as well?

  16. Amazing news Rino. I built a website following your videos a couple years ago and now I am moved to Claude and Lovable. I am building way faster! Glad to see you taking the same direction and, most important… I hope you are HAPPY! Keep going!
