is this Hershey's spon-con? that 11% cacao bar is garbage, I don't care if it's "nostalgic", the recipe has totally changed in the last 30 years anyways
Hello cutie pie and you made a delicious treat…Yum, yum, yum!🥰
With the high cost of food these days, could ATK provide us with more realistic recipes, like how to make a PB&J a little more deluxe or ways to make top ramen more fancy with the things we found in the glove box?
How much fluff is the right amount?
I’m thinking you want ~1/4 an inch of fluff
is this what gets me to buy a food processor
Could the camera hold still, please? Trying to cut so many corners you can’t afford a good cameraman anymore?
I really think y'all made making S'mores so very complicated this taking the fun out of making s'mores. 🤬
The problem you are running into is the same problem you get with actual s’mores the marshmallow and chocolate ooze all over the place
This definitely needs more overhead shots! When she's pressing down the crust we see basically nothing
So frustrating there were no overhead shots of the layers as you were making them! Part of the satisfaction is seeing the Hershey’s Tetris.
Loved seeing this video and the recipe development. Not a huge smores fan but I think I need to make this now.
How about using Biscoff cookies instead of graham crackers?
Love her presentation but boy, sometimes her diction is so muddy I miss what she's saying, not to mention she talks fast at the same time. Enunciate!
You lost me at 4 hours 😭 I cannot wait that long. It'll be chaos for me! 🍪✌🏽
Hi Morgan! You should do a short of your Hawaiian macaroni salad. It's soooo good! 💯❤✌️
Panera used to have a s'mores bar that was amazing. It was just like this, but the chocolate layer was a creamy, smooth ganache. I wonder if a ganache would work with this? It looks so good, but I want that melty chocolate texture!
lost me with the hershey bars. there is so much better chocolate out there
Add peanut butter. It’s fabulous!
I make this on a regular basis. Big hit at potlucks. I add some honey to the food processor for the graham cracker crust (hot, for easier handling). It helps the crust stick together, and adds a distinctive flavor that people (so far) haven't been able to guess.
Smore on a floor!
Nice episode. I love seeing how and why something went wrong. It’s as informative as recipe itself. Having said that, I think I’m enjoying more on making smores than eating them.
Close enough. Welcome back, bon appetit!
Dove Dark Chocolate hits a bit like semi sweet dark chocolate. I'd recommend giving that a try, and it does melt a tiny bit too so you might be able to help it along by rough chopping it.
Morgan is so charming. I like the way she measured the brown sugar. It looks like me. I have heard that Hershey's chocolate isn't so great any more, and I don't know about that marshmallow stuff in a jar, but this is a good junk food creation. I don't eat sweet stuff any more.
I love seeing this side of the Test Kitchen!!
Morgan: ** me!
I had to rewind the video to make sure I heard that right! 🤣
People wanting to make s’mores of any format should sit down and eat 3 to 5 graham crackers on their own, and reconsider your choices. So-called graham crackers are extremely gummy with almost no actual graham flour in them.
Carr’s wholemeal crackers taste like graham crackers with flavor and structure; we’ve been using them in s’mores for decades.
Why use aluminum foil+spray instead of parchment paper? Does it make a difference during the bake?
Peeling the foil wrapper off of a chocolate bar with a chef's knife is unhinged and I like it.
love seeing some trial and error
I'm not even a big fan of sweets but I really appreciate this video! It is hard for me to make sweets for others to enjoy since I don't actually enjoy it myself. For all the dark chocolate lovers out there like me, Cadbury's Royal dark is the best dark chocolate I have found available in most retail stores here in the Houston area. I assume other parts of America can find this. If somebody has something better, please be sure to mention me in your comment. That is just the best I've come across so far
