Well, I now understand a possible reason for why SCOTUS rejected Trump's appeal. But there still is really serious disbelief of Carroll's claim. This STILL seems wrong because the timing, pervasive Trump hatred, and other intangible but real factors, make it seem like the bogus legalistic "truth" of a witch hunt conviction. Legalistic, which is very narrowly true for only a tiny piece of relevant statute, but more generally false.

X Judge Nap is a Democrat who does not tell you that the heavily Democratic NYS legislature passed a law allowing this woman to bring her case that would have otherwise been barred by the statute of Limitations. IMO his opinions are tainted and worthless.

Not only is E. Jean Carroll's credibility in question, but Reid Hoffmann, funding this case, could well have motivated her to make the whole story up, particularly as he is a known enemy of President Trump. He who pays the piper calls the tune.
